由于ROS的双重作用,植物中的抗氧化防御系统维持细胞ROS稳态对植物至关重要。一方面,ROS作为信号分子调节植物生长发育,帮助植物适应胁迫条件。另一方面,当ROS浓度在胁迫下积累时,它们可能会对细胞代谢的有害影响。因此,植物拥有一个复杂的抗氧化系统,可以调节细胞内ROS产生和消除之间的平衡。
